ICC Assignment: Create the schedule and outline the curriculum for a three day seated workshop focusing on career transition for Olympic athletes. Create catchy titles, detailed descriptions for each session, with 2-4 learning outcomes for each. Include breaks....meals... activities.
This assignment allowed me to look back at the various coaching clinics I’ve attended where we had different speakers, activities, and learning objectives. Two clinics I’ve participated in were 2 to 3 days long and incorporated meals and networking outings for coaches to meet with one another. I enjoyed this assignment because I got to incorporate those clinics with the creation of a 3-day workshop that had to do with the ICC and Olympic athletes. Being a former collegiate athlete and finding my way into coaching, I wanted to incorporate learning objectives that had to do with transitioning from being an athlete and how that sport experience can benefit them in the work field. I spent about 5 hours total over the course of 2 days working on this 3-day schedule and researching the various topics I chose to implement such as career transition, whole-person health, branding yourself, and so on. The 3-day overview was:
I. Day 1:
Discovering WHO you are and your values, personal branding, analyzing yourself as a whole person, and creating your 4-Step Action Plan to strengthen your skills.
II. Day 2:
The power of using social media to build a network, utilizing LinkedIn, living the Olympic values, why hire a hero, and changing your life by becoming your own CEO. Networking Dinner.
III. Day 3:
The interview process and tips to help nail those interviews. Interview role play exercises. Career Aptitude and interest assessment and comparing various tests to utilize. Resources for career transition and college transition.

ProCamps internship: first day at my onsite internship
The first day of my onsite internship wasn't too long. It was mainly getting situated with the office settings, meeting the staff of each department, and getting my computer set up to access the materials and information I need for working in the Operations department for the G3 team. The entire office was really friendly and open to where one could easily access someone from each department if they needed to. Most teams sat in cubicles of 4 where they can easily converse with one another and pass information back and forth when needed. There's a large table by all the computers where the interns can set up, this is also near the Operations staff so it's easy for me to converse with them and listen to what is needed to be done for events coming up. Setting up the computer wasn't hard, we just needed to get access to the WiFi and printer. Overall it was like a first day attending class and making sure you have all the necessary materials to move forward.

ProCamps internship
The second day on the job was a little more eventful with gaining access to the G3 Team's critical path where is displays all the events coming up that we are in charge of and what is left to do to make sure everything is taken care of. For example, our Sam Hubbard Aquafina Academy was coming up in Cincinnati on October 15th and they had not confirmed any table and chair rentals for the event. They allowed me to do research on the closest party rental shops that would deliver to Paul Brown Stadium the morning of our event and then be picked up the next morning. We were looking at renting 20 folding chairs and 10 8ft banquet tables for this academy. I googled Paul Brown Stadium and then searched nearby "Party Rentals" and found three options to choose from. One rental company did not have the type of tables we were looking for, another was in Kentucky, but there was one: The Inflatable Fun Co. that was 15 minutes north of the stadium and had all the equipment we needed. So I called and spoke with Miranda who was able to provide a quote for us, which we later agreed was the cheapest option for us to go with. The next task for Sam Hubbard was to research nearby Papa Johns to call closer to the event date to order pizza.

ProCamps internship
My supervisor gave me my own writing pad for me to write down the information I collect and act as sort of a checklist since we are now working on multiple events at a time. My checklist consists of rentals for Sam Hubbard Aquafina, Tarik Cohen Aquafina, Myles Garrett Pepsi, and Ryan Kerrigan. With four events at a time I worked my way down from the next event which would be Tarik Cohen on October 21st at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Today, I researched various rental companies near the university that could provide the tables and chairs we need as well as try to contact certain ones who were able to provide us a quote. My list for today consisted of Jump for Kids Party Rental that was 15 minutes away, Southside Tent Rental that was 29 minutes away, Twilight Party Rentals that was 21 minutes away, and Chicago Moonwalks that was 29 minutes away. Southside got back to me the same day, but unfortunately there was a $250 order minimum for delivery. That was one thing I found to be somewhat difficult is that some rental companies do not deliver small orders so my list began to become a bit smaller because the only items we needed were 10 8ft banquet tables and 20 folding chairs. I continued to do my research for the day looking up other rental companies who may be able to provide the equipment we need and delivered to our event site.

ProCamps internship
Today I continued to research rentals for Tarik Cohen in Chicago as well as our Myles Garrett Pepsi event on November 5th and our Ryan Kerrigan Aquafina event on November 6th. When it came to our Tarik Cohen event, finding a reasonable price for just tables and chairs in the city of Chicago seemed like a bit of a daunting task due to some companies that were about 20-30 minutes outside our delivery destination don't deliver that far out or to that area. However, I found two companies that were between 10-15 minutes away: Tablescapes Event Rentals and Doolin Amusement Supply Company, Inc. Tablescapes was 10 minutes away and had a delivery charge of $125 while Derek from Doolin's gave me an estimated quote of $369.68 for the rentals we were asking for. At that point it seemed that Tablescapes was the more reasonable option to go with at a price of $313.55 and was the only company at the time that was nearby, could deliver to our destination which was the University of Illinois at Chicago, and accommodate our request of delivering the day before our event and picking up the day after. With the rentals for Tarik Cohen being taken care of it was time to multi-task with researching hotels for those who were going to work the event as well as continuing my research for rentals for Myles Garret and Ryan Kerrigan.

ProCamps internship: Off Day
Today I worked from home. I was invited to attend the Miami University Women's Basketball practice this morning to watch and talk with the coaches after. It was something I was really looking forward to leading up to the practice because I had just started networking with the Head Coach a few months prior and being able to talk in person and continue to grow as a coach - today was a great opportunity. Practice was at 8:00AM and went to about 10:00AM, afterwards the players went to their 30 minute lifting and I stayed to talk to the coaches for a bit to gain their perspective on the game of basketball and learn a few new things that I could implement for my team this season. Once we were done I went a grabbed lunch with one of our former players from Mercy McAuley who is a freshman now at Miami.

ProCamps internship
Today I continued to work on research for Myles Garrett and Ryan Kerrigan while trying to finish up the final touches for Tarik Cohen. The final steps was to find a hotel for our event workers heading to Chicago. When it came to researching hotels for the Tarik Cohen event, they wanted something that was 3.5 stars or higher as well as somewhere that wasn't a far drive and was at least $100 per room. Hotels for that price and within good distance are not easy to come by when looking around Chicago. It took a lot of google mapping and trying to decipher the traffic routes until I was able to at least find some reasonable options that were outside the city. I was able to find 4 hotels that were all between 12-20 miles away from where our event was taking place, however, one also has to consider traffic when traveling through Chicago so the time it could take to get from the hotel to the university could be longer than expected. The four hotels were the Holiday Inn: Chicago SW-Countryside CONFCTR, Quality Inn Midway Airport, Country Inn & Suites by Radisson: Chicago O'Hare South, and Four Points by Sheraton Chicago O'Hare Airport. All four hotels had the price of $85-$99 per room which was well within the $100 max. With the hotels being anywhere between 30-35 minutes away from the university, we decided to go with the Quality Inn Midway Airport which was within a good area and had the highest star rating with a 4.2. Now that the hotels were out of the way for Tarik it was time to get started on Myles Garrett and Ryan Kerrigan.

ProCamps internship
Being able to check things off the to-do list is a great feeling, especially when you begin to narrow your list of events down from 4 to 2. Once Tarik Cohen was finished I began working on Myles Garret and Ryan Kerrigan. Our Ryan Kerrigan event was similar to Tarik's in a sense I had to research hotel options as well. The nice part about Myles Garret was that it was being held at Kent State University and so we didn't need any hotels. Ryan Kerrigan's event was being held at the Inova Sports and Performance Center which is used by the Washington Redskins so it wasn't too hard to find nearby rental companies compared to how hard the research was for Chicago. I found four options that were all within reasonable distance and had great quote prices. The four companies were Ace Party Rentals, Event Rentals DC, Capital Party Rentals, and Brooke Rental Center. I called and emailed each company with our rental information and asking for a potential quote for our accommodations. While I was waiting to hear back for the rentals I began working on researching potential hotels around the area. Again the hotel parameters were the same as they were for Chicago and I was able to narrow it down to three potential spots which were the Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Sterling Dulles, Candlewood Suites: Washington Dulles Sterling, and Holiday Inn: Washington-Dulles Intl Airport. All three hotels were between 10-12 minutes away from our event center.

ProCamps internship
I heard back from a few of the rental companies for our Ryan Kerrigan event in DC which was a good start to the day. Event Rentals got back with their quote for $260.76 and Ace Party Rentals with their quote of $192.00 which was a big difference not just between each other but the price we paid when in Chicago. While being in charge of researching rentals (especially when it's just chairs and tables) I've been amazed so far by the pricing - sometimes good and sometimes a bit extreme in my opinion. I emailed the quotes to my supervisor and waited for approval to see which option they would want to go with or if they wanted to wait to hear back from the other companies. While I waited on that I began to do my rental research for Myles Garrett and try to narrow the options down for that event. I also got to make a trip to the warehouse to sort through some items and make sure we had what we needed for our Coach Cal Golf outing coming up.

Today was like the usual, but this time I was going to knock off the last event on my list before moving on to the next task that was to be given to me. We decided to go with the Ace Rentals for Ryan Kerrigan and those attending the event figured out their hotel situations so now it was just about narrowing the rentals for Myles Garret and get that situated. I was able to find four rental companies that were within reasonable distance from Kent State University. The four companies were A&B Tent Rental Inc, Sully's Tool & Party Rental, Celebrations Unlimited-South Akron Awning, and Miller's Party Rental. After calling and emailing these companies, A&B Tent Rental was closed during that time, Sully's Tool & Party Rental could not provide delivery for our rental size which was the usual (10 tables & 20 chairs), and Celebrations Unlimited was closed for the month. This left Miller's Party Rental which did provide delivery for our rental size and had a reasonable quote price of $161.41. With the other three companies being a no-go it left us with one choice which ended up being a great option for us anyway so in the end it worked out in our favor. A side task that was asked of me to do when I got back next week was for the Tarik, Ryan, and Myles events were to find nearby Pizza Huts that could deliver pizza for us on the day of the events.
Monday, October 14th 2019
ProCamps internship
While my rentals and hotels were complete for the four events given to me, I had to know look up Pizza Hut deliveries for these events. The only event that had to be Papa John's was our Sam Hubbard Aquafina Academy which is to take place tomorrow. So I found the nearby Papa John's that was close to Paul Brown Stadium and made the call to put in our order for 150 kids which came out to 20 large pizzas (10 cheese ; 10 pepperoni). Next was to research nearby Pizza Huts for Tarik Cohen, Ryan Kerrigan, and Myles Garrett. While doing that Jason, the Sr. Operations Manager, asked if I could update the Coach Cal Golf Trivia slideshow that they're going to use for the Coach Cal golf outing coming up. The Trivia can be found in the projects tab on here to show what type of questions were asked. The main thing was just to update the answers since we were in a new year and Kentucky athletics, especially basketball which is what Coach Cal coaches had some player and program updates. I also had to verify with the Inflatable Fun Co. to make sure we were still set to go with our delivery for tomorrow for Sam Hubbard and make sure to give them the on-site contact information. The biggest thing was getting everything prepared for tomorrow so the Aquafina Academy could run smoothly.

ProCamps internship
As stated, the only task needed from me at this point was to research Pizza Huts for our Tarik Cohen, Myles Garret, and Ryan Kerrigan events that were coming up in the future. Our Sam Hubbard Aquafina Academy is today so most of the office is leaving later throughout the day to make sure everything is set to go at Paul Brown Stadium later this evening. Finding Pizza Huts in Chicago, especially ones that deliver was a daunting task. I could only find one that was nearby the University of Illinois at Chicago and one that was on the outskirts in Cicero, Illinois which was about 20 minutes away from campus. When I called the first Pizza Hut that was located on W. North Avenue, Chicago, IL I couldn't get anyone to answer the phone. I moved on to the next Pizza Hut on my list which was located in Cicero, IL and was told that they don't typically deliver to the city but the manager I spoke to at the time said she was going to ask her supervisor when she arrived if they could deliver since it was a large amount (again 20 pizzas for 150 kids). While I was waiting to hear something back, I found another Pizza Hut that was similar distance (20-25 minutes away) and decided to make the call. I got the same answer about they don't typically deliver that far into the city but since it was a large order being placed they would be willing to make it happen. So the next step was to get the price to my supervisor since it was pretty high so that they could get it approved.

ProCamps internship
Now that I had a general idea of what Pizza Hut we were going to go with for Tarik Cohen, it was time to look up Pizza Hut options for Myles Garrett and Ryan Kerrigan. I didn't have to make any calls yet as the events weren't until November, but wanted to make sure I had researched the best options for us so we could easily go down the list. I wasn't given any other tasks at the time so I went back and forth working on this research while also prepping for our basketball season since practices were about to start next week for us and I had to make sure I was prepared for that as I was also assisting the Varsity team in a higher capacity than last season. I found three Pizza Huts that were all well within 8-10 minutes away from Kent State University and all delivered which made it easy to choose from when we got closer to our event date. Another task that was brought up was from Jason, Sr. Operations Manager, who asked if I could find any rental companies who might have a projector and screen available for our Coach Cal Golf outing this weekend since the one that we have at the warehouse isn't big enough. What seemed like finding a needle in a haystack turned to work out when after my quick research I was able to find a company with a reasonable price who gave us the information we needed to make sure we would rent the right type of projector and screen. AVT - Audio Visual Techniques were able to provide us with a 7x10 screen and the right size projector for about $750 which included a cart and all the cords. Our event was being held at the Champions Trace Golf Course on Friday - Saturday but staffers were arriving tomorrow in Lexington to set up and make sure everything was ready to go. So we ended up working it out to where we picked up the equipment tomorrow morning and drop it back off either on Friday or Saturday since we were only going to use it for a day.

After figuring out the Pizza Hut situations for the events I was tasked with working on a few riders for 2 different artists that were performing in a few months in Arizona. This was the first time I had heard of a rider or what it even meant so what I basically was given were the hospitality riders with all the requests from the artists and then I had to research the items (whether on Walmart, Sam's Club, etc) to find the best prices for each and then we would input that information into an excel sheet so we could estimate how much each complete rider would cost. There was a rider for the band members, a rider for the solo artist of that band, and then another rider for a separate artist. I won't name the artists but I'll provide an example below. From there it was just all out research on Walmart and Sam's Club looking for all the requests made by these artists. On top of that I needed to research van rentals for bands in the Arizona area along with hotels. These next few tasks were going to hold me over until everyone got back from Coach Cal and Chicago this week.

ProCamps internship
Today I continued my research for the hospitality riders while most of the office was out for the Coach Cal Golf outing this weekend. I decided it would be easier for me to work one artist at a time and list each item with the prices so I could compare. While finishing up the hospitality riders, I began working on requesting quotes on van rentals as well as researching hotels in the Scottsdale, Arizona area. I found four different hotel options as well as a few van rentals that might have what we're searching for. When it came to the van rentals we were looking for something where we could remove seats put equipment in as well as carry 10-15 passengers. The four hotels I found were JW Marriott in Scottsdale, The Scottsdale Resort at McCormick Ranch, Andaz Scottsdale Resort & Bungalows, and Mountain Shadows Resort. For the van rentals I cam up with three companies: Sprinter Rentals, A-1 Leasing, and Bandago Van Rentals. Unfortunately Bandago had the vans we were looking for but they did not provide drivers for the vans which was an accommodation we wanted since we weren't too familiar with the area.

Today was bit of a slow day, but I continued on my tasks with the hospitality riders and researching the Arizona area for hotels and van rentals. A lot of staffers were coming back from the Tarik Cohen event over the weekend in Chicago so the office was pretty quite today. It was really eventful so I decided to multi-task between the hotel/van rentals and preparing for basketball since we start practice on Thursday for all levels and I am involved with all three. Luckily for me my supervisors are accommodating and have allowed me to multi-task on my other work as well since I am not only involved in coaching at Mercy McAuley but I am also the Associate Director for Cincy Nation. Again, today was a pretty laid back day and was more so with just trying to get some outside work done.
Tuesday, October 22nd 2019
ProCamps internship
I sent all my research on the hospitality riders, the hotel information in Scottsdale, and the feedback I got from the van rentals to my supervisor so she could inform her supervisors on where we were at and what options we may want to look at more or go ahead with. We didn't need an immediate answer just yet since it was a good few months away, but we want to be prepared in all aspects. I also began verifying with our other rental companies that we had already requested for Myles Garrett and Ryan Kerrigan since those events were coming up here in a week or so. We wanted to make sure we were still good with the delivery and pick-up days/times. Those attending the Ryan Kerrigan event found their own hotels they wanted to use which was fine with me. Something I was tasked with was looking up heater rentals for a Game Day football event coming up in Michigan. I needed to find "umbrella" like heaters which turned out to be patio heaters that we could use under the tent. This wasn't the easiest of tasks because most companies had your usual box tent heaters or space heaters. I was told I could research in companies such as Lowe's or Ace's Hardware because we could buy the heaters as well if we were unable to rent them. So I made a list of Heaters for Rent and a list of where we could shop for heaters. I gave the list for my supervisor to look over and see if there was an option we wanted to go with.
Wednesday, October 23rd 2019
ProCamps internship
I gave the heater rental list to my supervisor yesterday, my next task was to work on our Mike Evans Aquafina Academy in Tampa which was coming up on November 12th. The venue was the Tampa Bay Police Athletic League. We were looking for the usual rentals which were 20 chairs and 10 tables. The delivery day needed to be on November 11th and picked-up on November 13th. So I did what I usually do when it comes to researching rentals, I use google maps where I type in our event address and then search nearby. I found numerous options nearby so next was just to look at the websites of each to make sure they had the products we needed and then request a quote for the dates we were looking for. I sent quote requests to the top four which were Buccaneer Party Rental, Imperial Party Rental, Fiesta Solutions Event Rentals, and Taylor Rental. Now I just had to wait to hear back to see which would be the best option for us. I was told hotels were already taken care of so that was one less thing I had to research for this event.
Thursday, October 24th 2019
ProCamps internship
Today I heard back from the rental companies for our Mike Evans event that is taking place on November 12th. The quote I got from Buccaneer Party Rental came out to be $335.91, Imperial Party Rental did not get back, Fiesta Solutions Event Rentals gave me a quote of $236.90, and finally Taylor Rental's quote came out to be $201.59. I sent this information to my supervisor to get approved and so we could move forward on an option which turned out to be Taylor Rental. I called and placed our order to make sure we had it set for those dates. Once that was done, I continued to work on the previous heater rentals since we were still looking for other options for that event. I also multi-tasked on some basketball work as well since today was our first day of practice and I wanted to make sure I had an organized plan because JV and Freshmen teams were going to practice together for the season. I also had to help with Varsity as well.

ProCamps internship
Today was a bit of a laid back day, some were out of the office and I had completed most of my event tasks needed. So what ended up happening was that my supervisor and a co-worker decided to teach me how to access PCBC which was our network used to access all of G3 Marketing's critical path for events and ProCamps' critical path for events. Having access to this allows me to input rental information once completed so others can go access contact information or so on if needed. It also allows me to see what needs to be done still in the hotel/rental area for future events that are coming up. So after I got a tutorial of how to work the network, I went through the G3 Marketing critical path to see what future events might need to have research done just in case I'm needed in that area. The next event that was coming up was the Odell Beckham Jr Women's Clinic on November 15th at Caps Field house. Not knowing if we needed anything for this event, I started researching rental companies near the field house that had the typical items we've been renting but also other essentials such as linens and bar tables as well. This allowed me kill some time since my other tasks were complete and I worked on basketball since we had begun practices and our season was underway.

ProCamps internship
I heard back from a few of companies on the heater rentals I had been working on previously, but we were able to figure something else out for that event so I could cross that off my list. The next task I was given was to quote out a few different places for our Fitz Women's Clinic on December 2nd to see if we can beat the price from the previous year. I was told I can also look to get different items from different vendors depending on price – i.e. tables/chairs from one, heaters from another which made it a bit easier when it came to researching. This was a multiple day task so I was about to get busy these next few days requesting quotes for this large event of ours. Below are the items that we need and attached was last year’s order.
- High top tables – 22
- Pipe and drape – what’s on the attached invoice
- Chairs – 50
- Linens for high top tables
- DO NOT need round banquet tables at this point
- Rectangle tables – 25
- Heaters – 8

Today was the same as yesterday as I continued my research for the Fitz Women's Clinic. I found five companies today which were close to the event spot which is Arizona State University. The first company is Bencomo Ent, Inc which could provide the tables, chairs, and the linens. The next company is Party People Rentals which could provide a more items that were on our list including the heaters. The next three companies could provide everything needed if going off the contract from last year. Those three companies were A to Z Party & Event Rentals, Affordable Party and Event Rentals, and Andrew's Party Rental. I began requesting quotes from these five companies first before continuing my research. I didn't want to give my supervisor too many quotes but at the same time I wanted to have some reliable and strong list of quotes to choose from in case a few didn't respond or fell through. So I called and those that I couldn't get a hold of I emailed requesting quotes for the items I was given yesterday. I heard back from two companies today and am waiting on the others. I'll continue my research tomorrow and find a few more options to choose from.

Today I continued my research and was allowed to multi-task on some basketball work as well since we started putting in our offense at all three levels and had to sort through which freshmen were going to make JV and who was going to be on the Freshmen team this season. While this was a day of continuing research, we also had to do prep for next week's events which included Myles Garret and Ryan Kerrigan. I gave my Pizza Hut list for the Myles Garrett and Ryan Kerrigan events to the other intern, Andrew, who was going to be making the pizza calls for the events when it came closer to the dates. Andrew had been working on our credentials for these events. I had to take a quick break from my research on the Fitz Women's Clinic to help hole punch our credentials for Ryan Kerrigan which was a good 75+ of them. Andrew and I then had to put the names that we printed out on the front and back of each. While it doesn't seem like much it can become somewhat time consuming but it is necessary. Once the credentials were finished I got back to researching for more rental companies in the Arizona area that had some if not most of the items we were looking for.

Today was a pretty fun day in the office being that it is Halloween so most of the office dressed up in costumes. With our DC events happening this weekend and next week, a few were getting things in order to prep for their travels. Besides our Ryan Kerrigan event there was another ProCamps event happening over the weekend in DC that a few from the G3 Marketing team were going to work. While I could say today was definitely a laid back day, I still continued my research on the Fitz Women's Clinic before handing over my findings to my supervisor. I found four additional companies who I requested quotes from. All four had at least four or more of the items we were looking for. Once I received the quotes requested, I took my notes and dropped them off on my supervisor's desk as well as emailed her the list of quotes that I had gotten for this event. After that was completed I began on some basketball prep work to get ready for today's practice.

Today I heard back from Taylor Rental for our Mike Evans event in Tampa and confirmed with them our rental agreement so that was taken care of for that event coming up. I decided to look into PCBC and see if there were any upcoming events that might need to be worked on or didn't have any rentals/hotels yet. The next upcoming event that didn't have rentals yet was for Matthew Stafford on December 3rd. So I decided to do my usual research around the venue which is Ford Field and look for any rental companies that are around the area. I found five that were between 8-20 minutes away. All five had great pricing for their tables and chairs and since I didn't have an current tasks to work on I started putting in quote requests to those I thought were the top three options for us and then go from there.

ProCamps internship
Today, with no current tasks to begin with, I started prepping for basketball practice and getting our practice plans completed for today. As the day went on, my supervisor emailed me an excel doc that was the current travel schedule for ProCamps and G3 Marketing events. She wanted me to research the addresses as well as the dates for the events through our networks and update the excel document. This is were the coach in me took over because I am OCD when it comes to organization so I did a little bit extra on the document to make it easier to read and find which events might be missing information such as venue addresses, times, and so on. My OCD of organizing paid off because my supervisor emailed me back after I sent her my final update version saying "Cassie, this is above and beyond what I asked for. THANK YOU. I am going to be using this from now on to keep things updated. Thank you." That's why I said my inner coach took over because as an assistant coach, part of my job is to make our head coach's job easier - so in turn part of my job as an intern is to make my supervisor's job a bit easier. The file of the travel document is below, but can also be found under Projects. I also met with my supervisor to discuss my goals (short term, mid-range, and long term).

These next few days, with my tasks being completed for now, I was at the disposal for others who needed to have errands run or if they needed something dropped off/picked up at the warehouse. If no one requested my help, I was working on hole punching any credentials needed while also working on basketball stuff for the day. Today I wasn't needed since most were prepping for our Ryan Kerrigan event coming up so today was easy going and I got to get my basketball work done early today before practice. I have a feeling tomorrow is going to be the same with most of the office out.

ProCamps internship
As stated yesterday, with events happening, today and tomorrow are going to be easy going days. My supervisor didn't give me any updated tasks and there are no essential events coming up in next few weeks that need work on so again, I was at the disposal for those in the office to use for any errands or warehouse stops. I continued to work on basketball/coaching priorities when I wasn't needed to do any errands. Tomorrow is going to be something similar and then the start of next week I was told we would begin working on our Zach Ertz Aquafina Academy.

Today I began the task of researching rentals for our Zach Ertz Aquafina Academy that will take place in December. Before I could work on table/chair rentals, I had to start with a daunting task of looking at facility rentals because the facility they originally had fell through and we were running short on time to find a replacement. Surprising to me that the would leave this task to an intern, but I think I've been doing a pretty good job at the whole rental thing so far so I was confident I could find a few facilities within reasonable distance that the supervisors would approve of. Then came the requirement that they really wanted to keep it in Philadelphia since Ertz plays for the Philadelphia Eagles. Of course the only real facility that was in downtown Philadelphia or in very close proximity of the city was the original facility they had. So as I was making this list I thought what about right across the river in New Jersey? There's no NFL teams from New Jersey and it's right across the river so only about a 10-15 minute travel outside of Philadelphia so Zach Ertz wouldn't have to travel far. I completed my list and circled Total Turf Experience in Ptiman, NJ so my supervisors knew that I thought this would be the best option for them to go with not only because of the distance but it also had everything they were looking for when it came to the field space and court space.

I waited today to see if they had come to an agreement of a facility for the Zach Ertz event so I could begin my research on the table and chair rentals needed for the event. Most of the office was out today because of the Mike Evans Aquafina Academy that was taking place today and with my supervisors being down in Tampa, I was at the usual disposal if anyone that was still in the office needed any errands done or if I needed to run by the warehouse to drop something off or pick up. If I wasn't running any errands I was doing basketball/coaching work for the day to prepare for our practices later.

Today I got word that we decided to go with the Total Turf Experience for the Zach Ertz Aquafina Academy in December. With knowing the venue of our event I began doing my research around the area for nearby rental companies that had reasonable prices for folding chairs and banquet tables. The date of the event is December 10th which is still a pretty good time away but after next week the office is closed for Thanksgiving Break so we're trying to stay ahead on some of our December events before it comes around. I found three rental companies that were between 10-20 minutes away. The top three companies I listed were Y-BY Rental, Party Heaven Supplies & Rental, and Preferred Party Place. I put in a request for quotes to all three companies and now it was just a waiting game to see who responds. When the requests were in, I started working on our Sam Darnold Citi Experience event that is going to take place on December 17th. Like stated earlier, with this week coming to an end and just having all of next week before Thanksgiving Break, we want to get started on a few of our December events so we have a place to pick up from when we get back from break.

While I still waited on hearing back for quotes on rentals for our Zach Ertz event, I was able to get a few quotes on our rental requests for the Sam Darnold Citi Experience event. For this event it wasn't the usual 10 tables and 20 chairs rental, for this we needed 20 rectangle tables, 8 round tables, linens, and 100 folding chairs. The companies I heard back from were Bergen Party Rentals, Taylor Rental, and Preferred Party Place. Out of these three companies, Preferred Party Place had the best quote at $551.00 while Taylor Rental was at $663.75. I emailed the list of quotes to my supervisor to look over and then waited for her call on which rental company they wanted to go with. Once she let me know Preferred Party Place, I made the call to them to put in our order. We were able to knock out our Sam Darnold Citi Experience rentals well ahead of schedule which was great but also made me a bit worrisome thinking I might not have many tasks like before to work on before Thanksgiving Break rolls around.

Today was a bit of laid back day with most of the office out for the Odell Beckham Jr. event so it was the usual of being at the disposal in case anyone had errands to be ran or I needed to make a stop at the warehouse. However most of the day I spent working on basketball/coaching because our first game of the season for all three levels was a going to be here shortly (November 28th) so I wanted to make sure we were as prepared as we could be when it came to practices these next coming weeks. I did hear back from one of the companies I had requested a quote from for our Zach Ertz event, I was just waiting to hear back from at least one more before I sent the list to my supervisor - which I ended up receiving before I left the office so I was able to give it to her before I left for practice. We ended up choosing Y-BY Rental with the quote of $104.20.

While this week I was informed there wasn't going to be many tasks since we were able to knock out some of the early December events, I was tasked with researching about travel for a December 5th corporate event for 9258 Wealth Management here in Blue Ash, Ohio. Corporate workers for the company are going to travel to the Joe Craft Center (Lexington, KY) and then back to their office at the end of the day. My task was to find a rental van/bus for about 12-15 people where they could be picked up at 9258 Wealth Management, taken to Joe Craft Center, and then brought back the same day to 9258 Wealth Management. The drive down to Lexington is about an hour and 45 minutes long. I was able to compile a list of two companies that offer the type of services we are looking for. The first is Casual Corporate Transportation Cincinnati which is between 5-10 minutes away from 9258 offices. They had a 24 passenger mini bus but it didn't specify whether there was wifi or had a bathroom on it. The next company was Executive Transportation Services which was about 20-25 minutes away. They had a mini coach that could hold a max of 30 people however there was no bathroom or wifi on it. I was able to get an estimate for that service which was around $1,175 inclusive. I gave my list to my supervisor as well as the quote I received from Executive Transportation Services.

As stated yesterday, this week there isn't going to be many tasks since we were able to knock out some of the early December events. However, I was able to start on one of our events that will take place at Superdome Sports in Waldwick, NJ on December 17th. The reason for the early start is because of the items we are looking to rent. The items include:
- 2400 square feet of portafloor ultradeck
- 20 8ft tables
- 2 6ft tables
- 2 4ft tables
- 8 60" round tables
- 5 30" x 42" tables
- 120 plastic white folding chairs
- 20 black 72" x 120" rectangle, polyester linen
- 8 white, polyester linen for 60" round tables
- 5 black spandex linen for 30" x 42" tables

As stated yesterday, today and these next two days I'm going to be focused on researching companies that hold the rental products we are looking for but at a cheaper rate for our event at Superdome Sports. This also means me trying to multi-task the best I can with my coaching job as well since we are nearing our first game of the season here shortly. While searching the surrounding area around the Superdome Sports complex I was able to find a few companies that offer the rental services/products we are looking for. One in particular, AllState Party & Tent Rental, has the ultradeck flooring we are looking for because we don't want to damage the turf field. I was able to get an estimate from them and it turns out the price is actually cheaper than the quote we originally have. I continued to research other companies and call or email for quote requests. I am waiting to hear back from the others but I did sent in the quote I got from AllState Party & Tent Rental to my supervisor so she could look over.

Today was the usual laid back day partly because everyone was getting some last minute work in before the week long break as well as the office was having their own Thanksgiving crock-pot lunch today. I got to work on a lot of my basketball/coaching work today due to most of my tasks being completed and my supervisor didn't have any new ones for me at this time. So if anyone else in the office needed me to run errands or help prepare for lunch break I was at their disposal. About an hour or so before we were going to start the office Thanksgiving, Jason asked if I could run to Kroger really quick to pick up two large bags of ice. That was the only errand I had to run for the day. The Thanksgiving lunch itself was cool to be a part of; the celebrated and gave thanks to each other and the work so far that each member has put in to make this year a success it has been. The food options were amazing as well and it saved me from having to stop to get lunch before I went off to practice.

Again, today wasn't really eventful with some leaving early for their Thanksgiving Break to see relatives or family so I didn't have many tasks to work on. One thing I did have to do was call Party People in Arizona for our Fitz Women's Clinic to change the rentals we wanted as well as our reservation. Instead of all the items we originally requested, we decided to just rent the heaters from them and stay with the company they used last year. So I made the call and spoke with someone about changing our reservation and we were able to get that completed and out of the way before Thanksgiving Break started. Other than that there wasn't anything else for me to do so I continued to work on coaching stuff to get ready for our games next weekend.

ProCamps internship
It was a bit weird being back after such a long break, but at the same time we had our first two games over the weekend for all three levels so I kept busy as usual with my coaching job. However nothing has really slowed down here in a sense because we are prepping for our December events that are taking place this week and the next upcoming weeks. That does mean though my task list has gotten a bit shorter since I've completed my rental assignments and the end of my internship is nearing (December 18th). So over the course of this week I'm mainly helping around the office with hole punching credentials and running errands for those who need something. This has also allowed me more time to multi-task on my other work for my coaching job as well with season up and running it's become a bit hectic since I also do all the film breakdown and scouting for Varsity while running JV/Freshmen practices.

As stated yesterday, this week is a bit slowed down for me when it comes to tasks since our upcoming events are taken care of as of now. However, there is a small event happening next week on December 12th in Kentucky so I was asked if I could find some linens to rent. There was a specific preference since Conner who lives in the Newport area offered to pick them up and then drop them off on his way back to work the day after the event so I had to find a place more in his area since it would make it more convenient. I was able to narrow it down to two companies but ultimately we went with Advantage Tent and Party Rental located in Covington, KY because their price for 8 linens was $11.00 each which came out to about $93.28 and there wasn't an extra charge for dropping them off two days after.

With this being my last full week before I end (December 18th), I was tasked with a time consuming research project for a big Adidas event being held in January. We will be in Houston on January 18th for our Carlos Correa Adidas Academy. Carlos is the shortstop for the Houston Astros. My research task is to find facilities to host this academy. We are having two sessions on Janurary 18th:
1st session: 9AM-12PM (300-350 kids) - basically an all day event
2nd session: 1PM-4PM (300-350 kids)
My supervisor recommended looking at schools who may want to host since your larger campuses typically have a cafeteria for lunch and the fields and courts (in case of weather) needed to host an academy like this. As far a I know we are not looking into college campuses but instead high schools or other facilities that may have the means. All this week i am meant to email or call schools or facilities I find might be able to accommodate this large event as well as make a list of everyone I have contacted so far and give it to my supervisor. Below is the list I found throughout this entire week and who I contacted to see could or would be willing to host. We ended up striking out on all of them on the list, but my supervisor was able to reach out to a baseball contact in Houston who might be able to help.
My supervisor is gone next week so she took me out to lunch on Friday as a celebration and also as a way to say thanks. I couldn't be more grateful for the experience I got to have here and how accommodating and flexible they were to my coaching career as well.

ProCamps internship: LAST WEEK
While most of the last 3 days of my internship were laid back and me just helping around the office when I was needed, Monday was really the only eventful day where I got to send emails and do research because my supervisor tried to reach out to the Trainer we got for our Sam Daronld event but wasn't hearing anything back so she asked if I could reach out to few trainers around the area and see if they would be interested, just so we had a back up plan. So that's what I did; I contacted athletic trainers from nearby high schools with a generic email:
"Good Morning,
My name is Cassie and I am the operations intern for ProCamps located in Cincinnati, OH. We have an event next week (December 17th) at SuperDome Sports. This is our Sam Darnold Citi Fan Experience camp. We are looking for a certified ATC to work the camp from 5:30PM - 7:30PM (your standard bumps, bruises, and overreactions). ATCs will be compensated and the pay is $25 per hour. If you are interested or know of another ATC who may be willing to help us please let us know! If you cannot, no worries and I appreciate your time!
Best"
I didn't hear back from anybody, but fortunately on Tuesday my supervisor heard back from the trainer originally schedule and everything was good to go! My last day consisted of me writing up a Tom Brady bio which can be found in the "Projects" tab as well as trivia questions for the Tom Brady event that was to take place coming up. I then had to drive down to Convington, KY before heading to practice to drop of the linens we rented from Advantage Tent & Party Rental because Conner forgot to do so. But like I said, my internship gave me a deeper dive into what goes into event operations and gave me some valuable insight on some things I might be able to utilize when I become a college coach.
